  • October is Dimes for Hunger Month

The Dimes for Hunger offering provides funds to local and foreign mission programs to help feed those who may not otherwise have enough to eat.  Half of the money collected stays in our area: Chester, Kershaw, Lancaster, Union and York Counties.  Our local Meals on Wheels program is just one of the agencies in our area that benefits from this offering.  Internationally, money will be sent to Guatemala, Honduras and Malawi.  During the month of October, set aside one dime for each meal you eat.  As you do, pray for the people who are hungry in our world.  On October 30, bring your dimes to church to be combined with others from our congregation.  One dime seems like such a small amount, but together our dimes can make a difference.

  • Worship at Fowken Farm, October 16th
  • Tuesday Night Live, 5:00 PM

Our mid-week Bible study begins at 5:30 each Tuesday.  Dr. Torrey leads the study which focuses on a Lectionary scripture for the following Sunday. The same scripture will be the focus of the sermon that week.  This time together allows us to fully read and study God's Word in preparation for worship each Sunday.  In addition, a light supper is offered from 5-5:30 for a time of fellowship before the study. Cost of dinner is $5. Check the calendar for the menu.

  • Little Free Library

Do you have books to donate to our Little Free Library?  Fiction, nonfiction, children's books, devotional books, cookbooks - if you'd like to pass them on, just place them in the Little Free Library which is located next to the South Street entrance to the parking lot.  If the box is full, leave books in the conference room.  Also, please check the Little Free Library for books you would like to read.  Thanks for supporting this ministry of our congregation!

  • Exercise for Body and Spirit

5:15 PM, Monday and Thursday evenings

Video led yoga classes will help us stretch our bodies for better fitness.  Focus on Scripture will stretch our minds and spirits. Enter through the courtyard door and head upstairs to the youth room (309).  Bring a yoga mat or a towel. Classes will last approximately one hour.
